The entire Indiana Fever franchise and fan base are holding their breath after Caitlin Clark suffered an injury.

With her attempt to fight over a screen, Clark was seen going down with a non-contact injury while the team was playing the Connecticut Sun.

She stayed on the ground as teammates came over to help her. Clark would soon make her way to the locker room.

There were times during Caitlin Clark’s debut week in the league when she looked amazing and times when she struggled. The first three games of the schedule were against New York and Connecticut, two of the best teams in the league, which wasn’t kind.

Against the immense quality in the league, it will take some time for the young star of the Indiana Fever to establish her stride.

Even though 22-year-old Caitlin Clark had her most outstanding performance of the early season versus New York, the Fever were unable to secure their first victory of the year. The Iowa native, who was selected first overall in the WNBA draft, finished with 22 points, ten of which came from an active first quarter.

Her offensive statistics, which include an average of 17.0 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.3 rebounds, are pretty remarkable. She now joins Sue Bird, Nikki McCray, and Candace Parker as the only players with more than 50 points and 21 assists in her first three games, via WNBA.com.

She defintely needs improvement as she is only shooting 40% from the field — down 5% from her final college season and she has 21 turnovers in the first three games.

Her first game of th year saw her commit 10 turnovers which was the most ever by a player in their debut.
