The two shared an incredible bond, competing at the highest level with one another. Both collegiate stars led Iowa to two straight Final Four’s. While they were never able to hoist the NCAA title for the Hawkeyes, they left a lasting legacy in Iowa City

Clark recently went to Instagram to send a message to Martin, sharing a heartfelt birthday note.

“Happy Birthday to my right hand!!!! I miss you and love you endlessly… Go crazy tn kid,” said Clark, via Instagram.

Clark and Martin are both showing out in their first year in the league. Martin is competing with one of the top teams in the league, averaging 5.2 points and 4.0 rebounds for the defending champion, Aces.

Indiana’s rookie star is currently averaging 15.6 points and 6.4 assists through the Fever’s 2-9 season, leading all first-year players in both categories.

WNBA fans all over social media continue to reminisce the Hawkeyes squad with both stars. If Martin and Clark were to ever team up in the league, it will be box office for the WNBA.
