Seattle Storm rookie Nika Muhl has been a fan favorite in the women’s basketball landscape for quite some time. Her stardom began during her years with the UConn Huskies, and it has transferred to the WNBA.

Despite being selected in the first round of the 2024 WNBA draft, Muhl hasn’t received much opportunity. This has left fans infuriated online. Muhl has averaged 2.8 minutes per game, having yet to score her first points at the professional level.

This may not be disrespect of Muhl’s talent, but rather point toward the elite lineup  the Storm are able to put on the court. Seattle has some of the best players in the league, including Jewell Loyd, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike.

Muhl may not have much opportunity on the floor, but she’s the star of the show when she enters into the stadium tunnel.

The rookie’s pregame outfit was turning heads in the Storm’s West Coast matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday.

Muhl was rocking a black crop top with a unique attached hoodie, jeans and sun glasses. The Storm had the perfect response, saying “Survival of the fittest” via X.

It may take time for her to crack the lineup, but she knows how to draw attention.
