The outspoken Angel Reese has shown no signs of changing her ways in the days before the official start of her WNBA career.

Reese is about to begin her professional chapter with the Chicago Sky, but the former LSU standout is still willing to speak her mind and call out nonsense wherever she sees it.

In her latest post on X (formerly Twitter), Reese has highlighted the need for celebrities and star athletes to have some measure of privacy in a social media-dominated climate. It continues a trend for the 22-year-old, sticking up for those who might not be her teammates or even her friends.

Reese sounds off

Even though she has not played a minute of competitive professional basketball yet, Reese has already dealt with more abuse and invective than many athletes experience over their entire careers. While playing for coach Kim Mulkey at LSU, Reese starred in spite of receiving heaps of insults on social media and even death threats during her time with the Tigers.

However, it must be noted that Reese has not complained about similar treatment in Chicago. Reese’s #5 Sky jersey sold out in roughly a week after she was drafted last month, and she has raved about the culture — as well as the food — during her first weeks in the Windy City.
