Angel Reese has certainly been making a name for herself at the WNBA level with the Chicago Sky, but that doesn’t mean she’s forgetting where she came from.

On Thursday night after the Sky win over the Washington Mystics, Reese got to share a special moment with someone from her past — LSU head coach Kim Mulkey.

Mulkey, arguably the most polarizing and well-known college coach in the women’s basketball world, was sitting courtside during the Sky game against Washington, and she embraced her former player for a long while and shared some words with Reese after the win.

It was a touching scene after the game.

Reese played under Mulkey for two seasons at LSU, where they won an NCAA Championship together in 2022 before getting eliminated in the Elite Eight.

Reese put on quite a show on Thursday night in the win, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds to go along with five steals and three assists. I’m sure Mulkey was proud looking on.
