The Indiana Fever are facing the Seattle Storm on Wednesday night. Through the first half, the Storm have looked like the much better team, and are beating the Fever by 4 points. 

Caitlin Clark has been quiet to start the night. Through the first half, the former Iowa Hawkeyes superstar has 5 points, 3 assists, and 0 rebounds. She is also shooting 2 of 9 from the field, and is o of 4 from three-point range.

And one play that occurred right before the game’s first half came to a close encapsulates how Clark’s game has gone so far.

Clark was driving to the basket with seconds left in the second quarter. As she went up for a shot, Clark was met by Seattle Storm forward Ezi Magbegor, who knocked her hard to the ground.

Because no foul was called on the play, Clark remained on the ground for a few moments after taking the hit, holding her head in what appeared to be agony.

Clark ultimately got up and appeared to be all right as the first half ended.
