The Chicago Sky and New York Liberty matched up on Tuesday night in a very exciting WNBA battle. With plenty of stars on both sides, fans were excited to see Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter go up against Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.

This star battled was living up to the hype, as Stewart and Ionescu had it going all night, and Carter provided an instant spark off the bench to compliment Reese’s double-double. Unfortunately for fans this was cut short, as Reese was ejected from the game after playing just 24 minutes.

The ejection has been very controversial, as Reese did not seem to deserve it:

Many basketball fans have weighed in with their thoughts on the ejection, believing it was unwarranted.

While this is the reaction most have had to Reese’s night ending early, former NBA star Nate Robinson took aim at Reese’s struggles from the field, pointing out her 3/12 shooting night in an Instagram comment:

Pointing out Reese’s 3/12 shooting performance in this game, Robinson trolled the Sky rookie a bit, which has a lot of fans coming after him in the comments. Robinson played 11 years in the NBA, and is most known for his numerous Slam Dunk Contest victories at just 5’9″.

Playing for several different teams, Robinson spent most of his NBA years with the New York Knicks.
