Paige Bueckers is beaming with pride at how well her fellow UConn friends Aaliyah Edwards and Nika Muhl are doing now that they are in the WNBA.

Both Edwards and Muhl were playing for the UConn Huskies last season with Bueckers, but the latter opted to remain at UConn for another year and she is expected to enter the WNBA Draft for next season, potentially as the first pick.

Muhl and Edwards came up against one another in the WNBA on Saturday, and it was just Muhl‘s second game of the season having had to deal with visa issues between the Unites States of America and Croatia.

Muhl played against the Indiana Fever in her season debut. She’s currently averaging zero points and two rebounds in 3.5 minutes per game.

Edwards is playing for the Washington Mystics and is posting seven points and four rebounds in 20 minutes of game play per night.

Bueckers is keeping up with the WNBA

After their matchup on Saturday, Bueckers went to X to say “So proud… My sisters.”

Bueckers enjoyed a lot of basketball on Friday, May 24, and she showed off her interest in her chosen game by watching both the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Dallas Mavericks and the Fever do battle with the Los Angeles Sparks, where she left Clark a subtle message.

“Women’s basketball ALWAYS,” Bueckers said on X.com, formerly Twitter, as she watched the Fever trail the Sparks 39-33 with 1:27 left in the second quarter.

Many feel that Bueckers is the one who will get all of the attention that Clark and Angel Reese were getting last season in the NCAA.
