On Tuesday, Golden State’s new WNBA expansion franchise announced its team name and colors. The Golden State Valkyries will sport “Valkyrie Violet” uniforms when they take the court starting in 2025.

“Prettiest colorway ever,” Bueckers wrote in response to the announcement.

Fans are thrilled about the idea of Bueckers in a Valkyrie Violet jersey next season.

“SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE,” one wrote.
