Seattle Storm rookie Nika Muhl is listed as questionable for Friday night’s matchup against the Minnesota Lynx due to continued issues with her work visa.

WNBA fans are itching to see Muhl in action, and Seattle Storm head coach Noelle Quinn would love to have the former UConn star at her disposal.

Earlier this month — before Muhl officially landed a final roster spot with the Storm — Quinn made her assessment of Muhl very clear.

“She found her voice at this point guard position. She doesn’t feel like a rookie. She’s been pretty consistent daily,” Quinn said, via Christos Tsaltas.

Muhl was selected by the Storm with the No. 14 overall pick in this year’s draft. By no means did that draft selection guarantee a roster spot, but the former Husky impressed with her training camp and preseason play.

Following her graduation from the University of Connecticut, Muhl was forced to apply for a new visa in order to continue work in the United States. Many hoped this situation would be worked out before the Storm’s first game, but the process is still pending.

Friday night’s game against the Lynx will tipoff at 9:30 p.m. ET.
