Angel Reese and LSU used a second-half comeback to cruise past Middle Tennessee in a nail-biting thriller and confirmed their 16th Sweet 16 appearance on Sunday.
Flau’jae, the 20-year-old star on the team, knew what she wanted to talk about as soon as the questions stopped coming after the contest.
Following LSU women’s basketball’s 83-56 victory over Middle Tennessee in the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament on Sunday to advance to the Sweet 16, Flau’jae Johnson used the end of her postgame interview with teammate Angel Reese and coach Kim Mulkey to promote her new single.
“Go stream my new single, ‘It Ain’t My Fault,’” Johnson said postgame with Reese singing along. “It’s out everywhere.”
She would then dap head coach Mulkey after playing a snippet of her song and exited the stage.
Flau’jae: “Go stream my new single. It’s out everywhere, y’all go get that.”
Angel Reese: “Get out ya feelings, get a bag!”
This team, man. LSU runs the game.😂
A lot of people took to social media not happy with how they behaved:
Flau’jae: “Go stream my new single. It’s out everywhere, y’all go get that.”
Angel Reese: “Get out ya feelings, get a bag!”
Meanwhile, Caitlin: “My teammates did a great job, I’m so excited to be playing with my best friends, everyone puts out so much effort, this team is amazing.” Then she signs autographs for an hour.
You misspelled “ruins”

The LSU Tigers will continue to defend their National title from last year as they will play the winner of No. 2 seed UCLA and No. 7 seed Creighton in the Sweet 16 next week.
Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson Helped Engineer Second Half Comeback To Move To 2nd-Straight Sweet Sixteen
Flau’jae Johnson might have a budding rap career off the court, but she is much better with a basketball in her hands as she plays alongside Angel Reese.
Johnson led the Tigers with 21 points, four assists, and two blocks in the victory over MTSU. She played 38 minutes as she went 6-for-10 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free-throw line.
Angel Reese’s 20 points and 11 rebounds helped third-seeded LSU pull away for an 83-56, second-round victory over No. 11 seed Middle Tennessee on Sunday.
