Though somewhat begrudgingly, the Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky are both in a rebuilding mode this season.

That means they’re hoping to see quick progress from their high draft picks, with the view of competing as soon as next year.

As of now, both teams’ top available prospects are bigs in Cameron Brink and Angel Reese, and as such it’s no surprise that the battle on the boards will be crucial in deciding the outcome of this game.

Not only have I loved what I’ve seen from Brink so far, but I think the nature of Chicago’s team puts her in a strong position to succeed on Thursday.
