Caitlin Clark isn’t the only former Iowa Hawkeyes star making waves in the WNBA right now.

Kate Martin, who didn’t expect to get drafted in the 2024 WNBA Draft, was a surprise pick by the Las Vegas Aces. She’s since proven the defending WNBA champions right.

Clark’s former teammate is averaging 4.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She’s shooting 37.5 percent from the 3-point line and has made a lot of winning plays.

As Martin continues to get more run in the WNBA, her social media presence is growing. She has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram and fans are finding some of her old posts.

An old swimsuit photo of the former Iowa Hawkeyes star turned Las Vegas Aces contributor is trending on social media.

Martin’s profile is likely only going to continue to grow from here, especially if the Las Vegas Aces make a real run at winning the WNBA Finals again.

The Aces are 6-6 on the season but they’re set to take on the Seattle Storm on Wednesday evening.

Tipoff for that contest is scheduled for 10 p.m E.T. and it’ll air on NBA TV.
