The Las Vegas Aces recently suffered their third-straight loss, dropping to the Minnesota Lynx with a 100-86 finale on Tuesday night. It’s not time to hit the panic button on the defending champions since it’s so early in the season, but Becky Hammon and her squad need to find an answer.

Las Vegas is way too talented to be listed as the No. 4 team in the Western Conference standings, holding a 5-5 record. They have three of the biggest stars in the league in A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, and Kelsey Plum.

Plum was involved in a heated exchange that turned heads in the Aces’ recent loss. It may have been frustration from the superstar or just some trash talk that’s being traded with the opposing player. Plum was blocked after driving into the basket, and a Lynx player had choice words for the star.

Plum has been known for her tenacity, and it showed out on Tuesday night. The star has done her part for the Aces this season, averaging 19.3 points and 4.9 assists.

An emotional bout like this seems to have come from the 74-57 deficit in the third quarter. There’s certainly frustration building from the team, and WNBA fans made sure to share their response to the incident.
