There was high drama the first time Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese met on the court as WNBA foes earlier this year, so it’s safe to say that all eyes will be on the Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky rematch on Sunday afternoon.
If you remember, that was the game where Chennedy Carter took a blatant cheapshot at Clark on the floor, and an entire week’s worth of media narratives was born as talking heads debated whether it was an appropriate treatment of Clark or not.

Now, with the second game on tap, fans are going through the archives and digging up old content between the two sides. Most recently, this quote from Angel Reese back in March — during the NCAA Tournament — surfaced.
Here’s how Reese described Clark back then:
“She’s just a killer,” Reese said.

So far, both Reese and Clark have gotten the best of each other several times in their careers, and it’s built an incredibly intriguing rivalry that is fun to watch play out and grow.
I think I can speak for everyone when I say I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings on Sunday.
