The rise of the WNBA continues to grow day-by-day for the league. There’s been incredible news surrounding the league in the past week, but the newest update has everyone on notice. The WNBA has announced its intention to add an expansion team in Toronto

Angel Reese of the 2024 WNBA draft spoke out on the new updates in the league, saying “Change is coming.” The latest draft may not be the reason for some of the major changes in the league, but they’ve sure sparked some life into the WNBA.

It seems like the WNBA is growing at a rapid rate, with massive improvements every day. Some of the latest changes include the league switching to charter flights for every team, investing $25 million in season in doing so, and ramping up security for each team.
