Ben Napier Jokes He and Jason Kelce Might Be One Guy After Shirtless Photo: ‘Never Been Photographed Together’

On Wednesday, the ‘Home Town’ star weighed in on the conversation started by fans that the pro football player is his celebrity doppelgänger

Ben Napier is having a little fun with fans’ claims that he’s a Jason Kelce look-alike.

On Wednesday, the Home Town star, 40, responded to HGTV reposting the viral photo of a shirtless Kelce attending the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills playoff game in January to his Instagram Story and comparing the NFL star him to Napier.

In HGTV’s post on Threads, the shirtless photo is accompanied by a funny caption from the network: “For the last time, this is *not* Ben Napier.”

The dad of two couldn’t help but jump in on the joke, taking a screenshot of the post and captioning: “Or is it? @jason.kelce and I have never been photographed together.”

The running joke about the celebrity doppelgängers started when fans began commenting on Erin Napier’s Instagram in January pointing out that Ben and Kelce look alike. Erin replied, sharing her thoughts on the bearded duo.

“The Kelce brothers are sort of everywhere in our face lately and one of them gives me and apparently some of y’all Ben Napier vibes. I think their mama did something right,” she wrote, giving a shoutout to Jason and his brother Travis Kelce’s mom Donna.

The Heirloom Rooms author’s Story was in response to comments made on one of her Instagram posts that included photos of Ben playing “beauty shop” with their daughters Helen, 6, and Mae, 2.

“Oops…I thought that was Jason Kelce at first! Ben and Jason….2 men with hearts of gold! 💛💛💛💛 and girl dads!!” one person commented on the post.

Another added, “Me too! Then I wondered if Ben and Jason had become friends when I saw Erin’s name. I just took a journey. 🤣.”

Jason and Ben’s “hearts of gold” aren’t the only thing they have in common. Both men stand over six feet tall and have signature thick beards, though Ben’s is more of an auburn hue and Jason’s has a touch of salt and pepper.

While the pro football player’s shirtless appearance in January caused quite the stir (though his wife Kylie was not too pleased), fans were also swooning when Erin shared a shirtless photo of Ben in honor of his 40th birthday.
