Jason Kelce has not made a decision on his future yet, but the Philadelphia Eagles center is exploring his options regarding a career beyond the NFL. Kelce met with both ESPN and Fox during Super Bowl week to open discussions about a broadcasting position, Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reports.

No deal is close with either network, as McCarthy described these talks as “preliminary.” Additionally, if Kelce does choose to retire and enter broadcasting, McCarthy reports that CBS, NBC and Amazon will also enter the race to land the veteran as an analyst.

Kelce maintains that he is still thinking about his future, despite a report that he chose to retire after the Eagles’ wild card loss. The 36-year-old still played at a high level in 2023, becoming a first-team All-Pro for the sixth time and a Pro Bowler for the seventh time.

Kelce’s popularity has grown over the past few years, and he has demonstrated a knack for media through his New Heights podcast with his brother, Travis. When he does choose to leave the NFL, Kelce has a chance to become a star in the TV world thanks to his outgoing personality.

For now, though, Kelce’s mind is not made up, and he has all offseason to think about whether he wants to return for a 14th NFL season or enter the TV world.
