Even though the romance between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and The Duke (Regé Jean Page) was set to end in series two, viewers of The Ton are worried that Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma’s (Simone Ashley) romance will remain the same.

Season three will feature Jonathan and Simone’s characters’ accomplishment, but they have previously hinted at it.

Whether or not Jonathan and Simone will be asked to return for series three is still up in the air, as they confessed in an interview with Digital Spy.

Jonathan concurred, saying that season 3 might feature more of Kate than Daphne’s husband Simon Bassett: “And Kate is now the viscountess and once you’re married into the Bridgerton family, you’re married in.”

Despite the continuation of Kate and Anthony’s voyage in the next series, it may not serve as the show’s core plot. This is due to the fact that the Bridgerton books, which are adapted from them, focus on different family members.

In a recent conversation, Simone let us know that co-star Phoebe welcomed her to the cast, so the Bridgerton family might be expanding.
