PFF puts Ravens' Lamar Jackson in Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen territory

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had a season to remember in the 2023 campaign.

Jackson was on top of his game throughout the year, from his 29 total touchdowns tallied to his statement performances in primetime games. Jackson went on to take home the 2023 AP NFL MVP award after hauling in 49 out of 50 first-place votes for the honor.

Overall, Jackson received an offensive grade of 90.4 from Pro Football Focus for the 2023 season, which ranked third among all quarterbacks in the NFL.

Jackson has put together two seasons in which he garnered an offensive grade of at least 90.0 from PFF, tying him with Cincinnati Bengals passer Joe Burrow for the third-most among active starting quarterbacks since 2018.

To not much of a surprise, Mahomes sits atop this leaderboard with five such seasons.

PFF handed Mahomes an offensive grade of 90.5 this past season, as not many defenses had much of an answer for the three-time Super Bowl winner over the year.

Jackson and Mahomes sure will enter next season among the favorites to win the NFL MVP and NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards.
