Jason Kelce has reportedly been approached by the WWE to appear at WrestleMania 40 this weekend in Philadelphia.

The two-night event, which is WWE’s biggest annual showcase, will take place at the Eagles’ home stadium of Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Kelce’s bombastic personality has led some to believe, including longtime wrestler The Miz, the former Philadelphia offensive lineman would be a great fit with WWE, although he has never formally appeared for the company.

WrestleMania has brought in outside stars to compete at the event in the past such as Shaquille O’Neal, Lawrence Taylor and Snoop Dogg. Kelce now has the chance to join that list, per Fightful Select.

Kelce retired from the NFL last month, but is one of the the most popular Eagles players of all-time.

Kelce appearing at a WWE show has been floated recently for SummerSlam, the company’s second-biggest annual show, which this year takes place at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

When Logan Paul announced here SummerSlam will take place, he listed several Cleveland-native celebrities he wanted to see take part in the event, including Jason and Travis Kelce.

He did not mention if Taylor Swift, Travis’ girlfriend, would get an invite.

WWE has ramped up its celebrity involvement for this year’s edition of WrestleMania already, with The Rock wrestling on Saturday’s show and expected to be part of Sunday’s broadcast as well.

The Miz recently told TMZ about Jason Kelce: : ‘He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring – not only with just the athleticism and the part of the wrestling, which I think he can absolutely do.’

‘I watched him jump up at a Bills game from, like, down and jump up into a window, and I was like, “Oh my God, this guy is 300 pounds, how did he do that? That’s incredible,”‘ The Miz added.
