The Kansas City Chiefs player, who recently became the highest-paid tight end in the NFL, has been seen filming Ryan Murphy’s new horror show, Grotesquerie, with Niecy Nash.

Deadline was the first to report Kelce’s casting earlier this week, noting the FX series is expected to premiere in the fall.

‘Late night shenanigans,’ Nash captioned a clip of the pair filming a scene in a convertible.

The tight end smiled and threw up a peace sign while sitting in the car, adding, ‘buckle up.’

He was seen smiling and laughing while on set with Niecy Nash and the Glee co-creator

The three-time Super Bowl champ, who wore a pair of white pants with a matching shirt, sneakers and a beige bomber jacket, was seen hugging Murphy in another clip.

‘You were wonderful,’ the Glee co-creator told the athlete.

‘I’m just glad I didn’t hurt nobody,’ Kelce responded with a laugh.

Nash also shared a clip of two directors chairs with hers and Kelce’s names printed on them.

News broke that Kelce would be trying his hand at acting earlier this week

He made his acting debut on Saturday Night Live, enjoying two appearances on the show

It comes one day after Nash, who won an Emmy for her role in Murphy’s 2023 show Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, initially revealed she had began filming with the athlete.

‘Guys, guess who I am working with on Grotesquerie?’ she teased, before Kelce proclaimed, ‘Jumping into new territory with Niecy!’

The 34-year-old made his acting debut when he hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2023.

He also made a cameo on the sketch comedy show that October alongside his A-list girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

It wasn’t his first time on the small screen, however, as he starred in the reality dating series Catching Kelce in 2016.

Murphy has helped stars from other fields, such as singer Lady Gaga, transition into acting

Back in February, he revealed he has a passion for comedy during a press conference ahead of the Super Bowl.

‘Man, I’m comedy all the way,’ Kelce said at the time. ‘I don’t know if I’m anything else. I just like to have a fun time and make people laugh.

‘I’ll dabble into everything, though. Just to see if I have fun doing it. And I know there’s definitely Hollywood talks out there, but I’ve been focused on football throughout the season so I’ll probably have a lot of those meetings and conversations when it is all said and done.’

Murphy has a history of helping stars from other fields cross into acting, including Lady Gaga, whose first acting role was in American Horror Story.
