Super Bowl 2024 is costing its stars a pretty penny.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce quipped Thursday on the latest installment of his “New Heights” podcast about how much he’s spending for loved ones to attend Sunday’s big game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where Kansas City is looking to defend its Super Bowl title against the San Fransico 49ers.

While promoting Experian and its business services, Kelce — who is seeking his third Super Bowl win with the Chiefs — was asked by his podcast co-host, Eagles center and older brother Jason Kelce, about how he’s preparing for the championship contest.

“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money,” Kelce, 34, said.

Kelce’s remarks come one day after his mother, Donna Kelce, appeared on the “Today” show and said she could be sitting in the stands given the price tags of the suites.

“Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” Donna said.

“I have a feeling I am in the stands … As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everyone else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”

Suites at Allegiant Stadium for Sunday’s game are expected to range in price from $800,000 to $2 million, according to Tick Pick, an online marketplace for event tickets.

It isn’t just the Chiefs and their loved ones who have been taken aback by the pricing.

Lisa McCaffrey, the mother of star 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, said last week they would not be sitting in a box because “none of us can afford it.”

Though Lisa’s future daughter-in-law, model Olivia Culpo, posted in an Instagram Story that she was going to purchase a suite, McCaffrey — who announced his engagement to Culpo last spring — punted those plans.

“She tried to but I will not let anybody pay to watch me play. I had to nix that,” McCaffrey told Extra during the Super Bowl Opening Night on Monday.

All eyes – and cameras – will certainly be on those suites Sunday to see who is sitting with whom, and if a certain pop megastar will be cheering on her Chiefs beau after a Tokyo show.

Amid the heighten chatter about the suites, Boomer Esiason floated a wild theory this week suggesting Taylor Swift may ask the league to pay for her flight to Las Vegas, as well as a suite, to attend the game.

Super Bowl 2024 kicks off Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
