Charles Barkley, a former NBA player, is widely recognized for his sense of humor and entertaining skills.

The 61-year-old retired player currently co-hosts the show Inside the NBA on TNT. Despite his amiable and humorous personality, he has been known to display anger when provoked.

A recent controversial incident caused Barkley to become visibly upset. A viral video captured a Dallas Mavericks fan insulting Barkley as he was heading to Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals between the Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The fan criticized him for not having a championship ring, calling him “Jordan’s son.”

The guy with no championship rings. He sucked at basketball. Zero rings. He had zero rings. You’re Jordan’s son. Imagine not winning an NBA championship.” The Mavericks fan said.

Barkley was about to start a fight with a fan taunting him when security intervened and prevented the argument. However, Barkley had threatened the fan before heading towards the game.

Now what if I punched him in the face? He would’ve felt bad if I would’ve punched him in the face.” Barkley said.

Barkley also Ridiculed for Lack of Championship Rings by Shaquille O’Neal

It’s important to note that not having a championship ring doesn’t diminish Barkley’s potential throughout his career.

He was named the Most Valuable Player in the 1993 season. The recent incident demonstrated the inappropriate behavior of a fan who provoked Barkley, sparking a debate about the boundaries of taunting in sports.

The video has the potential to initiate a discussion among NBA analysts and catch the attention of officials regarding the consequences of such behavior for athletes. Nonetheless, Barkley has been ridiculed several times for not winning championship rings.

Shaquille O’Neal, former NBA player and co-host of Inside the NBA show, has also mocked Barkley several times on the same topic.

Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley co-hosted the “Inside the NBA” show for an extended period, during which they frequently teased each other.

Recently, during an episode, Shaq and Charles hilariously made fun of the replicas of the AEW championship belts.
